Bought for an aluminum extrusion sim rig to mount between a Corbeau Baja XRS and the Trak Racer seat sliders. Holes lined up perfectly and 2" was the perfect height for me. I'm a large adult male so I wanted heavy duty flat risers. These fit the bill.
Great product, fast shipping and fit perfectly.
bought this in order to install bucket seats in my 06 350z. fits correctly and worked well. it also shipped out pretty fast.
I purchased both the driver and passenger sides to mount Braum seats into my 2018 Accord. I test fitted both sides to make sure they were good to go and both were perfect. Slides and seats were mounted and ready to be installed. Was able to use the OEM seatbelt mechanism with the factory bolt and added the appropriate lock nut. Took the wiring out of the seat very easily and was able to plug it back in. One of the seat bolts has a limited area of space to work in, but nothing a ratcheting open end wrench couldn’t handle easily. Very happy I got these and probably the only company that makes them correctly!
Great fitment, reasonable weight. Makes for an easy install. Staff were super helpful in explaining what made my specific seats unique to my chassis.

These are very stout seat mounts. Steel is thick, plenty of mounting options, well made piece. Bolted right up in my 69 camaro.
amazing product, fitment was on point, great quality workmanship and shipped very fast.
1. shipment to Holland was a nightmare: shipment took many weeks; VAT had to be paid and that process also took weeks; these costs all together were euro 115.
2. although the brackets fit, they are too high, too much distance from the car bottom. The result is that the Sparco R100 seats are sitting much higher than the original ones and there is no headspace left. Trouble some with a helmet.
To adapt this the brackets have to be adjusted, which is another cost of 450 euro. 3. the brackets are heavy, to lift and tilt the seat with sliders and bracket is quite something.
Karel,
Sorry to hear you were not happy with the shipping time and cost to Holland, as well as the height and weight of your seat bracket!
Unfortunatley the shipping cost, VAT and import process is out of our control. We ship using major carriers like UPS, FedEx and USPS in an effort to make international orders as seemless as possible. However, sometimes even the major carriers have delays due to weather or other unforeseen factors, so we recommend allowing for extra time when placing international orders.
As for the height of the bracket; we have made it as low as possible in the NC Miata. The rear mounting points of the seat bracket are completely flat. The only height added at the rear of the seat bracket is the thickness of the metal which is 3/8 of an inch. The height of the front of the seat bracket was set to make the seat bracket level. Unfortunately there is not way to lower the rear of the bracket, and it would not make sense to have the front of the seat bracket lower than the rear. Doing so would place the seat in an akward position with the front lower than the rear.
If a low seating position is your goal, we'd generally recommend going with a low profile seat, like a fiberglass racing shell seat, instead of a reclinable, taller seat, like the Sparco R100 you have. Most reclinable seats have a much thicker bottom cushion because they are designed more for comfort than for performance compared to a racing shell seat.
However, since you already have the R100 you might consider removing the sliders and fix mounting the seat like we describe here: https://www.plantedtechnology.com/pages/installation-instructions#answer2
Removing the sliders will lower the seat about an inch and may give you the head room you need for your helmet.
Each of our seat brackets weighs about 8 lbs. We could make them lighter if we made them in aluminum, but they'd have to be thicker to be strong enough and they would cost A LOT more! We could make them out of a thinner steel, but they would not be as strong. We have seen seat brackets made out of thinner steel and they do not hold up well in craches.
We have chosen to make our seat brackets from 3/16 inch steel to provide superior strength without breaking the bank.
We hope this information helps you better understand our products and policies. If you have any questions please let us know.
Thank you!
92 Nissan 240sx hatchback. Full interior. Recaro SPG XL. Passenger side fit perfectly. Drivers side brackets require trimming to clear the hatch release lever when installed in the wider position for larger seats.
Put saleen recaro lx seats in my 96 saleen mustang and these were are perfect fit and finish. No drilling or modifications were needed. Very pleased with the ruggedness of this product. Will definitely buy for other cars as needed. Thanks for a great product
Since I replaced one seat I had to do the other, bolted straight in and made installation of the new seat easy as.
Hi Jack,
Sorry to hear your seat bracket was 10mm too narrow. We'd love to know more specifics about what exactly was too narrow so we can help troubleshoot. If possible please send us images or a video so we can see the issue clearly. You can send the information to sales@plantedtechnology.com. We'll look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you!
It fits the 2018 Subaru Crosstrek, a little tight but just have to adjust the bracket while adding the bolts to the frame
I needed a new seat for my 99 Camry and planted are the only company that supply a seat bracket to suit and with so many after market seat options. The seat bracket fits the factory seat mounts perfectly, you couldn’t ask for a more easier installation.
